Before you buy
Where is the server, and is there only one?
Yes. Hexane runs on a single AMD Ryzen 9 9900X machine with 192 GB of DDR5 memory in Miami, Florida. There is no second location. Players on the US East Coast and in the central US get comfortable latency; Europe and Asia will see higher ping.
What does "up to 3 threads' worth, shared" actually mean?
Each server gets a CPU quota enforced by the container runtime: 300% means it can use up to three threads of CPU time. Threads are shared across servers on the machine, not reserved for you, and quotas are ceilings rather than reservations, so the quotas we sell add up to more threads than the machine has. That is how every shared host works, and it works because Minecraft servers are idle most of the time. The plans page publishes the arithmetic rather than hiding it, and the number that actually protects you is that we cap how much memory we sell, which cannot be oversubscribed.
Do prices go up after the first month?
No. Every plan renews at the price shown. The launch welcome offer takes 20% off the first invoice only, and the renewal price is printed next to it everywhere it appears.
What if I want to leave, or it does not work out?
Cancel from your account before the next renewal and nothing further is charged. New services have a 72-hour refund window that starts when the server is delivered. Take a backup before the cancellation takes effect: the server stops then, and we hold the files for 7 days afterwards in case you need a copy.
Who answers support?
The founder, by support request. Published support hours and a first-response target are being set before public launch; until then, expect replies within a day on most days. We do not advertise 24/7 staffed support because we do not have it.
